What on Earth is Clicker Training?
Clicker training is based on the studies of Pavlov and Skinner. Pavlov a Russian psychologist, physiologist and doctor, found that if a bell was sounded every time dogs were fed, eventually they reacted to the bell in the same way they would when given food, in that they salivated and became excited. The concept of clicker training is quite similar to what Pavlov did, the clicker is conditioning the dog to know what to do.
